Customization Guide For Arthemia 2 Wordpress Template

Inthe previous post i wrote about the Arthemia 2 template installation and today i will write about the customization of the same template.How to customize Arthemia 2 Template?Don't worry its simple and easy and it does not require any PHP knowledge too.

For Arthemia template to work,first of all you need to create two categories named "Headline" and "Featured".Please note always type in capital the H of Headline and F of Featured and use it without quotes.Now when you write a post and submit it in the Headline category,then the post will be shown on the Headline Bar and when you write a post on Featured then the post will be shown on the Featured bar.After doing this i assure you that you have edited 25% of the template.

Now for posting different ads or banners on the template,you just need to look at the HTML script for it.First of all go to Header.php or index.php,then look for the banner ad script.Now remove that script and paste your ad script on it.After 5 minutes you will see the different ads on the template.

In the "Browse Categories" bar,it is used for displaying different categories.Now create 5 categories and note their category ID by opening each category and you can see the category ID at the address bar.Now after noting all the category IDs go to Header.php and look for 5,6,7,8,9 and remove this with your category IDs.
