Indian Premier League(IPL)-2 2009

As you all know that DLF Indian Premier League is a T20 cricket competition created by the BCCI and chaired by the commissioner of IPL,Mr.Lalit Modi.The first season of the IPL was held in India but due to security reasons,the second season has just started in South Africa on 18th April 2009.

Yesterday i was watching the two matches.One was Chennai Super Kings vs. Mumbai Indians and the other one was between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.But i was completely surprised to see that the teams which had low rank in the IPL season 1 has won these matches.Mumbai Indians has defeated the finalist of the IPL season 1 Chennai Super Kings by 20 runs and Royal Challengers Bangalore has defeated the champions of IPL season 1 Rajasthan Royals by 75 runs.

I think this is due to the slow pitch of Cape Town which is a hard pitch to play for a Twenty20 match.Anyways today there are two matches,one is Delhi Daredevils vs. Kings XI Punjab and the other one is Kolkata Knight Riders vs. Hyderabad Deccan Chargers.So lets see what these four teams do today to win this match.But i think that this IPL season 2 will give more excitement to the viewers because all the eight teams are fighting for the IPL title and all the players are concentrating more on their fitness.

Everyone has its favourite team and my favourite IPL teams are Hyderabad Deccan Chargers and Chennai Super Kings.Both the teams have very good batting order and bowlers are extremely experienced.
